Gutter cleaning can be straightforward on one property and much more involved on the next. Height, the amount of guttering and how easily it can be reached all affect how we approach the job.
Single-Storey Homes
Most single-storey homes can be quoted and cleaned using our standard setup, including connected guttering around garages and patios.
Double-Storey Homes
We clean double-storey homes where the guttering can be safely reached with the equipment required for the job.
Townhouses, Duplexes & Split-Level Homes
These properties can have several roof heights and more complicated access, so we quote the actual areas that need cleaning rather than relying on the property type alone.
Higher & More Complex Properties
Three-storey homes and properties with long gutter runs, multiple roof sections or difficult access are assessed individually. We’ll confirm which areas can be safely reached and included before preparing the quote.
What Affects the Cost of a Gutter Clean?
Gutter cleaning starts from $149. Your quote is based on the amount of guttering, height, access and expected buildup. We’ll confirm the scope and price before booking, and discuss any additional work with you before going ahead.
Amount of Guttering
A small single-storey home with a few simple gutter runs will take less time than a larger property with gutters running around several sections of the home.
Height & Access
Single, double and three-storey properties can require very different access. Roof shape, patios, awnings and other obstacles can also affect how easily the gutters can be reached.
Amount of Buildup
Loose leaves are generally quicker to clear than gutters with heavy or compacted buildup that takes more time to remove.
Property Complexity
Multiple roof levels, long gutter runs and harder-to-reach sections can make the job more involved, so larger or unusual properties are quoted individually.
Some Blockages Need a Little More Work
A standard gutter clean includes clearing around the gutter outlets and visible downpipe openings. If the problem goes deeper than that, or gutter guards need to be removed or worked around, we ’ll assess it separately before going ahead.
Gutter Guards
Gutter guards can slow the job down and sometimes need to be lifted or worked around to properly clear the debris underneath. We’ll check what’s involved before including that work in the quote.
Blocked Downpipes
We clear visible buildup around the downpipe openings as part of a standard clean. If the blockage is further inside the downpipe, it may need additional work and will be quoted separately.
Add Solar Panel Cleaning and Save
If your solar panels are due for a clean as well, have them done during the same visit as your gutters and save around $50 compared with booking solar panel cleaning separately.
What We Clean
We remove dirt, dust, bird droppings and general buildup from the panel surfaces using suitable non-abrasive cleaning methods.
Access Assessed First
We’ll confirm the panels can be safely reached with our normal equipment before including them in the job.
